The Finacial Supervisory Authority has approved Enerkemi’s new rules. The rules are valid from 1 July 2024.
Section 14 of the rules describes the costs from which the additional benefit paid by the fund can be received. The rules were clarified in many respects, but only a few actual changes were made to reimbursed costs.
Changes to reimbursed costs:
- The costs of public dental care are not included in the costs of the maximum amount of dental care (1000 euros). The costs of public dental care are also reimbursed for those members whose membership has not yet lasted 12 months. Examinations performed in private dental care (x-rays) are included in the costs of dental care, which are reimbursed up to a maximum of 1,000 euros per calendar year. In the past, dental examinations were part of the reimbursement category of examinations prescribed by a doctor.
- Physiotherapy, naprapathy, osteopathy and chiropractic will continue to be reimbursed with a doctor’s referral. No compensation is paid for the massage, even if the provider is, for example, a physiotherapist.
