The insurance relationship with Enerkemi is a valued benefit for the employees of our shareholders. We have received a lot of positive feedback from our insured members, and on the other hand, we have heard disappointment from those who have not applied for insurance coverage with our fund.<\/p>\n
According to the fund\u2019s rules, it is possible to apply for insurance coverage within six months from the start of employment.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Board of Enerkemi decided in its meeting on 26 February 2026 to exceptionally allow applications for insurance coverage during the period 1 April\u201330 June 2026<\/strong> also from those employees who have not previously been members of the fund<\/strong> and whose employment relationship began more than six months ago<\/strong>. The Board has emphasized that temporarily opening the fund to employees who have been employed for more than six months must remain exceptional<\/strong> and based on special circumstances<\/strong>, rather than becoming an annual practice.
\nAll other eligibility criteria must still be met for the insurance relationship to begin. Employees of shareholder companies where the right to join the fund is restricted are not eligible to apply during this special application period.<\/p>\n
