The rules are valid from 1 July 2024.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz JxVs2d ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Section 14 of the rules describes the costs from which the additional benefit paid by the fund can be received.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz JxVs2d ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The rules were clarified in many respects, but only a few actual changes were made to reimbursed costs.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Changes to reimbursed costs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"jCAhz JxVs2d ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The costs of public dental care are not included in the costs of the maximum amount of dental care (1000 euros).<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz JxVs2d ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The costs of public dental care are also reimbursed for those members whose membership has not yet lasted 12 months.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz JxVs2d ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Examinations performed in private dental\u00a0 care (x-rays) are included in the costs of dental care, which are reimbursed up to a maximum of 1,000 euros per calendar year.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz JxVs2d ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In the past, dental examinations were part of the reimbursement category of examinations prescribed by a doctor.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"jCAhz JxVs2d ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Physiotherapy, naprapathy, osteopathy and chiropractic will continue to be reimbursed with a doctor&#8217;s referral.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz JxVs2d ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">No compensation is paid for the massage, even if the provider is, for example, a physiotherapist.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Rules from 1.7.2024 in Finnish can be found at this link <a href=\"https:\/\/enerkemi.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/saannot-010724.pdf\">https:\/\/enerkemi.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/saannot-010724.pdf<\/a><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">.
