class=\"p1\">Compensation for approved medical aids by a doctor is 75 % but not more than 500 euros per member per calendar year. Costs of chiropractor, osteopath or naprapath are calculated to the same maximum amount of 900 euro.<\/p><p>A doctor&#8217;s referral is required. Costs of physiotherapy are calculated to the same maximum amount of 900 euro.<\/p><p>The person providing the treatment must be registered in the professional social and healtcare central register: <a href=\"https:\/\/julkiterhikki.valvira.fi\/?lang=en\">JulkiTerhikki (valvira.fi).\u00a0<\/a><\/p><p>Attachments to the compensation application:<\/p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Referral from a doctor (referral is valid for 12 months from when it was written)<\/li><li>Payment receipt which shows customer&#8217;s name, the name of the treatment provider, the treatment given and the cost in detail<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-1116\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"6\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1116\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-caret-right\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened\"><i class=\"fas fa-caret-down\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-accordion-title\" tabindex=\"0\">Pharmaceuticals<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1116\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"6\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1116\"><p><strong><u>1. Reimbursements from Kela<\/u><\/strong><\/p><p>The compensation is 75% of the cost of medication prescribed by a doctor.<\/p><p>75 % compensation includes Kela compensation.<\/p><p>Costs of Kela\u00b4s initial deductible for Kela reimbursable medicines (50 e per calendar year) are not reimbursable by the fund<\/p><p>At a contract pharmacy, you will receive a discount by presenting your Kela card marked with the fund\u2019s identifier (46001).<\/p><p>Pharmaceuticals covered by the reference price system will be compensated for in accordance with the reference price if the price exceeds the reference price and the customer does not want to replace the drug with a reference-priced option. Compensation will be paid in accordance with the price of the drug if the doctor has prohibited replacing the drug with a reference-priced drug.<\/p><p>Medicines related to infertility treatments are not reimbursed by the fund.<\/p><p>Attachments to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kela.fi\/documents\/10192\/3861304\/SV127e.pdf\">compensation application:<\/a><\/p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Original payment receipt from the pharmacy<\/li><li>a copy of the prescription (electronic prescriptions can be printed out at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kanta.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>www.kanta.fi<\/b><\/a>).<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong><u>2. We recommend that you use the latest versions of supported browsers.
